The EP2 CommEar Boost is a radio communication earpiece that directs radio transmissions directly into the ear for clear, covert hearing. The open design of the earpiece will not interfere with normal hearing of ambient sounds or compromise directional hearing. The EP2’s sound stem extends farther into the ear canal, permitting a “boost" effect by delivering sound more efficiently. This enables clearer hearing with lower radio volume settings, which helps reduce the possibility of gradual hearing loss. The unique flange centers the sound stem into the ear canal for clearer hearing and earpiece retention. Made from soft hypoallergenic medical-grade polymer, the contoured helix shape conforms to the natural groove of the ear for comfortable all-day wear while holding the earpiece securely in place. Their low-profile design means you can keep them in while wearing a helmet, mask, or hat, or while using a phone, headset, or supplemental ear muffs.
